Hamam is the name of the Oriental bathhouse and is the centre for a bathing culture which resembles something from One Thousand and One Nights: dreamy aromas, soothing lighting and a pleasant atmosphere. The hamam at the Kärnten Therme is probably the biggest and most beautiful in the south of Austria. The hamam also includes two treatment rooms for soap sup massages and baths as well as two steam saunas.

The hamam originates from the Orient. A session in the bathing house serves to cleanse and relax the body but the hamam is also a place for communication. That’s why we hold an Oriental Day once a month – a day which centres around this bathing culture from the Orient.

Submerse yourself in the Orient and experience and enjoy this traditional ritual wash. 15 mins steam bath, scrub, 50 mins soap sud massage, tea and relaxation. Followed by 50 mins aromatherapy oil massage.

Black olive soap with eucalyptus is applied to the entire body, followed by oriental peeling massage, face mask made of argan oil and mineral earth (30 mins). 10 min tea and rest. Finally, the body is anointed with argan oil in your chosen scent (15 mins).
